There is something so joyful about playing in the snow. There is also something so refreshing and renewing in the world when it is covered by a blanket of fresh fallen snow. I like to think of it as the earth giving itself a rebirth of sorts. A time for newness. A time for doing away with what is old and worn, and embracing the fresh start. I feel in many ways 2016 has already brought its fresh start right to my door. It has brought so much change, and I can only imagine what will be in store for the months to come. But I am ready for it. This snowfall reminded me of that.
