Sara + Mike | VMFA Sunrise Engagement Sesssion | Richmond VA
It was a beautiful sunny morning when I met Sara and Michael at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) in Richmond VA. They brought the whole family with them too! Django and Lyla are their two adorable fur babies! But like most children, human or four legged, trying to get a nice family photo with everyone looking at the camera is quite a challenge! Django proudly modeled their cute Save The Date, but poor Lyla had too much excitement too early in the morning, so we let her relax, and explored around the sculpture garden! Sara and Mike were all smiles the entire time! I LOVE when I see such a connection between couples, and these two were easily making each other laugh and smile, and just having FUN!
Sara and Mike met via the local nightlife, and found they both shared a love of hiking, camping, and the great outdoors. They always make sure to include Django and Lyla with them on their adventures. So it's no surprise that Mike got the dogs in on the proposal as well! Lyla had a pink heart name tag that was engraved with the question while Django had the ring on his collar. Of course Sara said yes! They are getting married next summer at the beautiful Ash-Lawn Highlands, and I can not be more thrilled to capture their day!
Django wasn't too sure about the security guard, but is such a lovable pup, that he won over the cop too!
Django is so handsome!
