I don’t know about you, but I would be perfectly happy if Tuesday became the new Monday. Ah, friends, what an extended weekend can do for the soul! I had quite an eclectic Labor Day weekend. My friends Joel and Erica run a small, sustainable farm called Free Union Grass Farm. I love having the ability to support small and local business at any opportunity, so on the Friday’s I have free, I like to try and lend a hand on their farm in any way possible. That mainly involves washing eggs for the farmer’s market on Saturday, but I love it! They are at the CharlottesvilleFarmers Market every Saturday. Their pasture raised, grass fed meat and eggs are to die for. If you shop at the C-Ville market, be sure to hit them up!Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting a wedding at Spring Meadows Farm alongside my sweet friend Kelly. This girl is an amazing photographer, and I am so sad that she is stepping away from weddings next year! But, she is a full time pediatric nurse, wife, and soon to be puppy momma, so I’d say she has her hands full. On Sunday one of my dental co-workers hosted a going away party for the lead dentist at our office. He has a great opportunity in another practice, but we are going to miss you Dr Sapon! On Labor Day, I started my morning off with a 19 mile ride I like to call the Crozet Loop. I knew that there wouldn’t be many people on the road, and I had a beautiful sunrise and fresh air to start me off on the right foot! The rest of the day was spent relaxing, planning, dreaming, and editing. I can’t wait to share Stuart and Jessica’s wedding from Saturday with you all!
So, that was my weekend. I would LOVE to know how you spent yours! Cheers friends!
